We are having a nice chill day in the desert. I am in Lily's play room with Swink letting my wife sleep in and will make her breakfast when she gets up AGAIN as Lily was up at 5am. I can sleep thru a nuclear holocaust from all the years on the road. I can sleep standing up! haha
BUT, it is her day.
Make sure to call your Mom and tell her you love her. Those girls sure did alot for all of us!!

Well no one came home in a body bag. I just felt like I did. hahaha
Man, these kids today. I have a sunburn and my wallet is crispy as well. BUT, it was worth it and we had a blast. The Wynn is a great hotel and they really did us good thanks to some good friends that live up there and his wife who works there.
I came home and my wife had the "7 day detox" kit out which I AM using. haha
Its Tina's B day Tues but I am letting her celebrate that with her friends. I gotta rest up for the tour and the next 2 years out. LOTS goin on.

I will be busier than when I was in Toto. haha

It sure has been nice to have a little time off, which is why I have had time to post and answer questions. I am gonna be starting my own blog on the ECT.com site soon but I promise I will be back here as well.
I am just trying to remember all my songs and putting my sey list together. I am very escited about the new band and the start of something new and different and I cant wait to get back out and see y'all.

I was called late afternoon yesterday by my friend Wolf Marshall from Vintage Guitar magazine to meet at one of my fave Italian joints in LA to have dinner with a bunch of people. He didnt say too much but I have known him for 24 years. He did a cover story for me for Vintage Guitar magazine a few days ago that will be out in June, so I said sure. Its very close to home.

Well as it would be in showbiz.. I just got a call that I am not doing the Greek in LA with Tull. Apparently there were 2 different agents and the opening slot was double booked. I lost the coin toss. A bummer BUT no fears as there is ALOT of other stuff comin in with other cool people. I wanted to do my own show in LA anyway instead of a 30 minute set opening I can do my full 2 hour+ show. I AM doing Red Rocks and sitting in with Tull on 2 other gigs. There is a danger of posting things as they are subject to change.
Europe is solid so no worries there.

Wow..an all time high!
I logged on this morning after feeding Lily and making some coffee and I saw 4 shy of 550 people on the site. Now, this is a VERY good number! Most sites have maybe 100 tops. Goes to show how this little community is growing , albiet slowly, but growing.

Big question? Finland. Yeah, hopefully on the next leg in europe in Winter 09. I spoke at length with my agent. My goal is to try and hit as many countries and cities as possible over the coming 2 years. I appreciate the support guys. Means the world to me!
