I was on a business trip today, played the new album in my car all the time and discovered the solo in "The letting go" and played it 20 times back and forth because it is really awesome or totally GEIL as we Germans say. Sounds a little bit like an hommage to Gilmour. Would like to know if one of the "boutique" amps was used for it. Would you tell us Luke?

Networkers: Which solos do you prefer besides the well known "Rosanna" and "Hold the line" ones. Any hidden gems? I like the solo in Modern eyes e.g..

cheers

Bernhard

I found these interviews with Luke and Sklar on HarmonyCentral.com today.
They were made during the Britt festival in Jacksonville, OR this summer. Don't know if they haven been mentioned here or linked already and I don't know to hyperlink them to this page.

last week I was on a "roadshow" for my company in the US and I did a little part-time marketing for TOTO ;-):
I asked our driver in N.Y. "Do you know TOTO?" Driver: Who?"(Maybe due to my german accent).. "TOTO - they play "Africa" for example! Driver: "Yes, of course I know them, but I think they haven't published anything for years" I said: " Wrong, they are still really big in Europe, they sell out big venues there and they released a new CD last year" "Oh, really?" " Yes , have a look at totonetwork.com" Driver "Ok, I'll do that" ...
