Oh What A Nite!

An incredible performance like I've never seen! The band seemed to connect with the crowd in such a serious way! The place was packed, and when they took the stage, it was incredible!

I snuck my camera in, due to the ridiculous casino security, but when I saw everyone else start taking pictures, I joined in the festivties! I hope all of you enjoy the pictures I'll be posting.

Bobby was right on key, right on time. Greg had a HUGE solo which just totally kicked a**!!! Simon came out to introduce Luke, and the crowd went crazy! Sklar was SUCH a great stage presence and skillful player, and Tony was great, but unfortunately on the other side of the stage, so I didn't get too many pictures of him this time.

We are trying to come up with a name for our "non-commissioned" sailboat, a 28' Hurricane Katrina salvage.

I would welcome any and all suggestions, please!

Take a listen one more time to Jeffrey's impeccable timing, innate sense of groove, his indomitable spirit. Take another listen to what this kid could throw down at the drop of a hat, the blink of an eye, the wave of a magic wand. Or two. He held them effortlessly, creating a symphony of rhythm amongst a cacophany of time signatures. When I needed a good triplet, he never left me wanting. When I craved syncopation, there was never a lack thereof.

There has never been another musician who has touched my life as JP has. He has shared his very soul with all of us who love him. He has helped, IMHO, all of us to come together and learn to spread love.

My brain is mush....I can't eat, can't sleep, can't even think straight due to tomorrow's gig!

I am in full-blown crisis mode! Indy? Wherefore art thou? Please help me make it thru the nite....:-)

Tomorrow kicks off your ulitmafabulous US tour in El Tuna, Iowa and I will be impatiently waiting for you to pull into St. Chaz on Thursday.

This is my FIRST Toto concert (as I've stated many times here), and the anticipation is about to make me delirious!

Well then, so much for keeping it clean! This includes Luke, Jeff & Hungate. These guys love practical jokes. One late night after a gig at one of our many hotels, Jeff's room was located directly across the hall from mine. He knocked on my door & wanted to know who crapped in front of his door. I told him that I didn't know, so, of course, he asked me which room Luke was in. After I told him, he went to knock on Luke's door (who was already sound asleep). While Luke was stumbling to the door, Jeff started peeing on the door and when Luke opened the door, Jeff just continued peeing on Luke's leg. Immediately, Luke yelled "I didn't do it, it wasn't me!". The next morning on the bus, Jeff said "I don't know who did it, but whoever it was needs to be checked out because that was the worst looking stool I've ever seen! Also, whoever did it didn't do it right because you should have squatted in front of the door so that it sticks to the carpet. You must have done it in your room and then brought it to my door on a fork". Finally, Luke confessed that it wasn't him, but he & Hungate had bet the bus driver each $50.00 that the bus driver wouldn't do it. Luke's final comment was "Not only did I lose 50.00 bucks, but I got my leg pissed on."

or don't know or care or don't care, I have decided to return my new Yamaha to "Worst Purchase", and go to an actual "music store" for my new keyboard. #1, I hope to be able to recreate what I stored in this piece of crap. #2, If not, I will have new riffs soon for everyone to laugh at..I mean hopefully consider. :-)

I've been wrestling with this for awhile, and I'm feeling a bit left behind. BUT, I submitted 2 sets of lyrics to my folder on the FTP site, if anyone would like to work with them. Please feel free to alter, even though I have written with a tune in mind! I welcome constructive criticism if it's GENTLE!!! I'm such a baby! and an amateur!
