Crash Mansion
The promoter bailed cause he had a probem with th owners of this place. Apperently they were not paying. Its a new place I have Never even heard of. There WILL be a re-scheduled LA date ASAP. It REAL hard on the road these days. I am doing really well considering Sheryl Crow did 2500 people in a 10,000 seat place last night. We did % biz but I am playing way smaller places to insure that we do well. I have to re-build. EVERYONE is on the road these days. My promoter friends, people I have dealt with for 25 years say they are taking a beating cause of the economy and high ticket prices and too many shows out there and people just dont have that much spare money. I would rather play a small place, 1000 seaters, and sell out or close than make my promoter friends eat it. Its the LONG race here and I aint trendy and 23 years old.
So, the USA is even harder. Even with bands that have a top 5 record, they are eating shit on the road in the USA. Lets face it.. the economy this time last year to now has vastly changed for the worse. Everyone is being conservative. It costs more to pay for the tours, and I am playing it safe playing small places but I have a low overhead so i can make it work. But some people think I am "Mr. Toto" and I am NOT! Toto was a BAND! Not one guy! I may have been there the longest but the fact that my high school bro's were not there was my main reason for ending it. Out of respect. I know what Jeff would have done. It probably would have broken up years ago if he was still alive. I LOVE all the guys and they know it and there is no hate, bad vibe.
So, As of this writing we are finding a new venue for OCT. and the other dates are still on!

I read in an interview where you stated that Las Vegas was "on the list" of ECT tour stops. Is Trevor's band going to open any shows for you outside of California? Cant wait to see you in "Loss Wages" again.
