Musica Musicanti : Echoes from the neapolitan power is finally born!!!
some of you know that this is my way to play music ahahahaha!!!!
speaks of a famous Italian singer-songwriter and guitarplayer Pino Daniele and other famous musicians, composer and session men who played in the city of Naples in the late 70 second half of the 80 affected by the presence of the local military NATO base where them were born playing the music that came from overseas and I think especially the west coast jazz fusion the jazz -rock revolution (Miles Davis, Weather Report,Billy Cobham) have given an important impetus to this movement called Neapolitan Power, characterized by a marked melodic pop, soul, jazz/rock/fusion and blues style . Many connections with the city of Los Angeles then regarded as the largest musical existing laboratory, with which the musicians Neapolitans cooperating! (Steve Gadd, Alphonso Johnson, Wayne Shorter,Mike Stern, Chuck Rayney, Greg Bissonette, Antony Jackson, Paolinho Da Costa....) and many many others not only remains for me to tell you that I devoted a some lines to Steve Lukather and Jeff Porcaro bringing as examples of that style and versatility that makes them great.
In 1981 the Pino Daniele Vaimo' band it was very TOTO similar the best Italian session men did a ROAR....A FUSION ROAR!!!!!

this is my dream that came true!
and there deny that much courage and so many insights I have gained through the history of all the musicians Italo-Americans and the Porcaro family teaches a lot
thanks in particular to Theresa Blackwell that followed over time and has endeavoured to learn Italian for the desire to read and to all my totonetwork friebds because you were all part of my life in these two years.

the most funny thing is that Steve Lukather will playng in Italy just the day before in the same city of the Pino Daniele Reunion Band....two Love is better than one ahahahahaha!!!!!!!!

this is an example of what I m talking about!!!
is a recent video with Pino Daniele, Cick Corea, Jimmy Earl, Dave Weckl. I follow Pino since when I was 16 and especially from 1977-1987. Money give to him the chance to play with the most musicians on the earth, but as a composer he loose something important inside himself...'the Blues' but I keep in my heart and in my home his first 6 records cause they are really amazing. And He started as the first Italian Blues Singer and guitar player.

we are a cool group of work!

Luca Vassalli is the painter, the piano hands are from Herbie Hancock, the sax is Sonny Rollins, the drum's finger is from my friend Oscar and also the guitar-hands another Blues friend of mine! is an a great 'acquerello'. My co-writer Luigi Scala cames from Taormina, we wrote the book trough internet, spending so many night on msn!
and Michele Miscia the editor...do the rest!

isnt internet a gift of God?
