I Love to Garden..........

One of my great pleasures is Gardening. I can't get enough of it and only when I see my blood all over the yard and myself do I feel I have done an adequate job. I guess I succeeded!

Well...I know a well tended garden usually takes a little blood, sweat and tears...but I kinda thought that was a figure of speech...! NOW I know what I have been doing wrong!...Too much sweat and tears and not enough blood! :)~

For those unfamiliar (and I'm sure you perhaps are....), there's a rose dubbed "The Mermaid".

Looks like you had a wrestling match with this climber of a vine.
I'm told those who work with her usually end up bleeding....she bites.

Man, I don't mess with my roses bare-hand. Any other flower, and I'm all about getting the mitts dirty, but roses are another story.
What were you working with, barbed wire???
