I just love Hal. Besides being the most recorded drummer in the HISTORY of music he is one of the best cat's ever. His joke telling is on a par with his drumming and he ended many a session with his jokes and they would just say "Come back tomorrow and we'll finish it then. Let's just hear some more of Hal now!" TRUE...........

I remember becoming Hal Blaine-aware upon looking at the credits for the Simon & Garfunkel "Bridge Over Troubled Water" record.. that drum sound on "The Boxer".. amazing!
