LUKE!!!!!

SMPTE stamp 02:35... Isn't that in 7-8 at the beginning?
The beast back there behind ya dropped another eighth....did he fall into 6-8 or 6-4 purposefully, or...... man, Jeffrey took you cats for a WILD ride.

My drum brother and former theory coach Jeff Brown used to tell us band G33ks "Grab a note and hang on, this one FLIES...."

THIS is why I LOVE TOTO. this is why I love the way Jeff played. (OK love the way Simon play's too) but this is very much Jeffrey our Legend. What about "on the run", jeff is grooving at his very best at the Montruex festival.

MARK: Two of the classiest

Jeff (and Si) are two of THE classiest groove cats ever.
Simon, IMHO is a power/flash/groove cat.
Jeffrey was groove/finesse/power/groove cat.

DIfferent styles but GEEZ, they rip it up.
Now that TOTO's disbanded, I'm going to MISS seeing Simon work the crowd and then turn right 'round and tear into "Africa" like he did on this last tour. His tuning is different from Jeff's I think but it still nails me to hear him do a groove Jeff invented.

Gotta love 'em both.

Must have been HOT up on the stage. God Bless Mikey--that cat was about to sweat DOWN. Dude was almost melting!
These guys played their back pockets off!

I just watched it again---DSL provider's being a pain in my tail and I just got August FREE.
(DOn't get my Irish/Cherokee to the surface, ha ha!)
Had enough with those clowns and came back here to chill.

This tune put a smile on my face. It always does.
The gatorade bath given a winning coach?
ALL these cats needed an igloo full of water over the heads aft the tune was done.

BURNIN'!!!!!!!!

THAT HELPS.
That ain't just a style element-it helps keep the spare set of eyes outta my face. I used march ye old "do-rag" on the picc line at USM. Paid for my degree in sweat. 100 degree days?
Oh yeah. Mikey looked like he was having fun but sweat in your eyes is not a real fun thing.

MIKE THUMPS on this tune. They were locked in an not moving.
Bad Boys those guys....all of 'em!

There is nothing better than this!!! I am sorry did not mean to swear but I can't help myself. I don't have the technical knowledge that you do Theresa but I can appreciate the caliber of this performance and it is the best there is to me too!!

Yeah, these cats were and are God-Blessed.
That's the ONLY explaination I have for this.

By 'baddest bad boys" I mean Jeffrey and the other Monstrosity that stepped in. Somebody wanting a little "Time-Warp" put this up --that's not bootlegged I don' think.
Somebody FINALLY got Claude's attention. Jeff's kids needed to SEE THIS EONS AGO.

*shuts up on that issue*

Technical b.s. is a direct result of 3 decades playing keys 2 of flute and 7 of music industry study....sorry. to BE a player you gotta have some level of the theory aspect and technical side.
I couldn't get my bachelor's of music biz and stuff without it.
(Kind of important to help your folks with college cost right? I paid for my first two years of school copping Parazaider's lines on "Colour My World"). I'm outta shape flute-wise but yeah.

Technicalities.....I'm having flashbacks to 20th century harmony right NOW.

I wonder when Bonnie got up to shred if she didn't ask Jeffrey to sit down and lend a couple hands and feet!???

"Luck of the Draw" is one of my all-time FAVE Bonnie tunes.
