After the flooding yesterday , this is what things looked like ! So now i'm sending these pics to a couple of newspapers and tv-shows. They cant let those kids wait till November ...

Oh, Billie! I just saw this pic! That's terrible...and it could be a health hazzard!...Standing water breeds all kinds of nastiness that you don't want your kids playing in ...and a child can drown in less than 1 inch of water...let them know that! They need to level that ground out, put in proper drainage...put proper ground cover underneath-see links below...and get those kids something to play on!

Remind them that they will be putting a huge smile on a kids face by providing a fun and safe environment where they can play with their friends and spend quality time with their family ...in addition they can look good by doing it in an eco-friendly way.

Cats, by nature, dig and bury their *ahem* leftovers.
I've owned 3 cats. Current resident feline is gettin' old and crotchety and does what she can to let me know she's in the house!
But the city shouldn't allow the feral cats and even pets to get anywherE near HERE.
Cats carry a toxic substance that pregnant women and children can be made very ill by...it's a bacteria in their systems left in the litterbox. I'd put a 6ft high chain-link fence around that, and consistently throw lemon water at it.
Cats HATE the smell of citrus.Billie -fight for these kids and get those dorks to change this... that just ain't RIGHT>

WE are a bunch of angry moms , and trust me , we're very very scary haha. I've got the publicity thing going on again with these pics ... Talking about the disease cats carry around , just talked to my neighbour and her 4 year old got sick from playing there last week.Problem is , kids will play there anyway , cause we've got no other options than this , or the street :-(

I have no choice but to vaccinate Midnight EVERY YEAR for Rabies, STDs and Feline Leukemia.
She's got tags on her bell collar from 2006 and 2007. Showing current.
The toxic thing the cats do is a protein left behind. Pregnant ladies have to mask and glove to change the box. It's just a good habit. Toxoplasmosis is the situation.
Billie: I got your back to somebody MUCH BIGGER than city council all the way from waaaaaaaaaaaaay over here.
Fight the good fight. Ask the city to require cats to be vaccinated...to write up a PIECE OF CITY ORDINANCE.
Hon, I wouldn't allow Emily to play there.

And I wouldn't allow my Midnight to set paw on that sand...her vet bills cost me enough-I'd not bother allowing her near it.
She'd get sick and I'd be broke from vet bills!
