Well it's getting colder, and the days are getting shorter so thought I would write a few lines to depress you further children!
Spent most of last night "You Tubing" and catching up with some of Luke's ECT tour interviews and a recurring theme in a lot of the conversations is clearly Luke's less than satisfactory observation and frustration that as a solo artist and with Toto, he never really cracked it in the US but himself and than band were worshipped over here in Europe!...I am still scratching my head over this!.. How can a band who were so indivudally excellent in their art as well as an absolute tour de force when together, not be liked in their own country!...I just can't comprehend that and probably never will!
Please don't waste your time on reply regarding an explanation...as I know most of the reasons...all I can say is US's loss has been Europe's BIG GAIN! Maybe this year Luke...they'll finally take it onboard!
I get pissed off with some of the comments on "YT" when clearly there are people out there who don't have ears and seem quick to judge without having a feckin' clue...but hey that's the internet for ya!
Well, I hope the "Wee Man" can sort his voice out , have a break and then get his ass back over to Europe....a surprise Northern Europe pre Xmas tour would cheer me right up.....although I would be sceptical if Santa Claus could pull that one out of the bag for me!
