I just heard the words "Fire" and "Calabasas" from one of the Wx-channel meterologists.

Were they kiddin', or????????

I stayed at the Hilton in Glendale once and ate at a GREAT steakhouse there...or maybe it was in Pasadena...can't remember.

I think that's what the Red Lion turned into. There is a place on Brand Blvd. called Damon's that's really fun and good, not great, Hawaiian themed. Pasadena has a couple of Great steak joints!

Both of those two have been kind to yours truly. I sure hope all gets shut down fire-wise in a hurry.
(Say that, and we're making Prep for Gustav should he come this way!).

Grab the garden hose and soak the roof.
Fire scares the *crap* outta me!

YIKES.
How far from Agoura is Glendale, anyhow?

Just google mapped it & it's about 50 km away which is a fair amount so anyone living in Glendale SHOULD be ok, just hope & pray anyone living in & around Agoura ok!
