it's The Queen & the soldier (plus an extra song) by Suzanne Vega,
in my opinion she is one of the finest female songwriters of our time.

Something about that breathy...kind of monatone...flat sounding voice that I just love.
I'm with Ivana...Loved Luka and that record...She was going to be one of my pics for the name your favorite 5, but I can't find it anymore!
