Gustav is STILL raining on us.
At last report, Natchez, MS (sits on the banks of the Mississippi River across from Vidalia, Louisiana) was without power due to wind taking out a power grid in North Louisiana....

I set out an 8inch tall plastic cannister yesterday at NOON.
It is now 0600hr. 16 hours of time has passed and if the cannistser is 8" tall; we might have had 2 inch of rain per hour since yesterday noon.....I'll check it LATER.

Good thing about this? My roses and crepe myrtles won't die.
