Some of you know that I collect Day of the Dead figures...well this this is the newest to the collection and was a gift by a very dear friend!!! She's beautiful... It's hard to get a good picture that really shows her.

HAHA... I love collecting things. I'm a huge fan of antiques, the Victorian Era and "Lefton birds", but they have to be from the 40's and 50's. I need a bigger house.

There's a place on Main Street in Santa Monica called Casa Allegra. Lots of cool stuff.

They had a lot of your collectible type stuff in the store when I was there.

The way I understand it is that one day a year the Latin? or maybe it's just Mexican??? counties have a huge celebration to honor the deceased. Lots of food, bright colors, skeletons, crosses, etc.,
