Awesome color of 'Gold' EB Musicman Luke, I wonder if Luke has one?

a couple of days ago, I went to my local music store to buy some strings and I found!

I ask the owner if I may have a look at it and he goes "Its one of our best guitar we have in stock." so I grinned. It was a nice price tag as well $4,500 Australian, maybe cause it was the 'Ball Family Edition' such a nice guitar.

Last time I talked to a jeweller buddy of mine, Gold was $900 USD per ounce. The plating on the tail??? Well? There ya go.
Compound that if there's gold plating on the headstock anywhere!

Here's my question:

Every retailer has mark-up. That helps them pay their landlord for rental space. How much of the cost of this EB Luke is markup????
