Okay peeps! It's time to dish and spill! I wanna know all about the CA shows! I need all the 'who, what, where & when' (but I'm certain I already know the 'why'!)... :)~
So if you were out late last night...you can nap later! Grab that cup o' joe and hit the keyboard!
Until then...I'll just keep the Father & Son discs spinning in the background while visions of my State Theater trip continue to dance in my head.

Great show at the Canyon Club..Trev's band was great and Luke just ripped it up with a 2 1/2hr set...
No suprise in that, but after a summer of touring they really have a seamless set. Luke and the band really gave it their all. The club was packed. A large contingent from totonetwork was there; Tanyap,Jeanne,Leland Sklar and some others. a lot of the Toto gang were there:David Paich, Steve Porcaro,Greg with his lovely wife, Simon and Lenny Castro. The Canyon Club has great food , a good PA and great service. Its really great watching Luke, his stylistic range and the depth of feeling in his playing is pretty amazing. The band really cooks! my highllights: Hate Everything About You(great song,great"pedal steel"licks by Ricky),Live For Today, Stab In the Back..The Truth ( opening with Steve Weingart solo and Eric then Steve and Carlitos), Eric's solo and LUKE!!! All in all, a great night..

I didnt make it to the second gig. my Mom is not well so I had to come down to San Diego. I have video from Coach House nad a review but will post it sometime later on today or tonight, Kinda busy at present.
