I'm getting chill bumps just loking at the picture....would love to hear you in person!

Thanks Stan. I pulled out some hard rock for the first tune, hehehehe.

Looks as though it was at church with the hymnal's posted in the background.

It was a concert last year in the old stone church in town. Fantastic place to sing, worse place to play drums in. Big choir, best female vocalist around was in it, one of my best friends singing the other lead part and yours truly. I did 3 tunes in a row, starting with a belting tune and finishing with a hush ballad.

... can rock too!!!
Hugs from Holland!
Music is the answer!

ours does. Drums, bass, guitars, percussionist and what I find really cool.....horns, violins and occassionally an oboe!

This picture is so badass. Go Daniel!

lookin good bro . how are you doin'..

Man, the black dog has been haunting me again to quote Winston Churchill. I'm tired but alive. Music has been good to me and I'll probably get to put together a blues band for a concert in the same church later on. We'll be doing Hendrix, Gary Moore, Glenn Kaiser and some other stuff, maybe some spirituals too.
I'll loan a Les Paul, play my own Frankenstrat and would like to put it through something sounding like Marshall. We'll see, first I'll rest. Thanks a lot for asking, Joe, appreciate it.

Daniel, I know what you mean..pretty much the same. That said, I'm grateful.Did a gig a few weeks ago on Skid Row here in LA, went home and collapsed. Paramedics took me to the hospital, diagnosed with an attack of vertigo brought on by pneumonia. I'll be paying the bills for a long while. If you were closer, I'd offer an LP loan..Don't do much real Gospel(my friend Reggie is THE MAN for that..), but I often play "People get Ready" when I get a chance to gig...my chance to say thanks..keep me posted on the gig and keep the faith my friend.

Man, if I only knew that by the time you got hit.....Glad you're still here with us. Be good to yourself-I'll try to be good too. I have a few things to say thanks for too, thus a blues concert. Also a good way to express some of the blue funk I deal with from time to time.
God bless you, Joe. We've got your back too.
Daniel

...quite an experience..been a crazy year! Very glad to be here. Learned a lot about Grace this year and am glad to have good friends like you in my life.

Brother, I'm not walking out on you, not now, not later, no way.
Period.
Daniel

Thanks Daniel ,
I've got your back bro..

Joe, I'm sorry to hear that. Are you feeling a little bit better now???

You should have been there. I have a problem trying to save the voice during rehearsals when adrenaline hits but this time I actually could squeeze out a couple of high notes beyond in concert. It was fun! Oh, thanks to Bubba lots of water.

Talking 'bout Bruce Willis...hahaha..sorry..WAY better! ;-) Good to see you back! What did you sing then? Any popular songs or "just" church songs?
