Thanks Yvonne! National guitars are very special.. first one I saw was in a place called Frank's Music. I used to go there to buy 45s. I was about 10 or 11. The shiny guitar was truly awe inspiring , and I always begged the owner, but was never allowed to play it. When I was 17(it WAS a very good year), I met Johnny Winter and we talked about blues artists and I asked him how he got the sound he did on his song 'Dallas'. He said it was a National steel guitar. I knew I had to get one. It took till the '90s before I finally got this guitar. Theres a very special feeling when playing it, as if I am connected to ALL the people who have played it over the last 77 years..

I can imagine you feeling that way. It IS something special and I love the sound. It's good to show things like that out here!
Thanks!

That's Killer Joe!!! You know how I love sparkly stuff!!!
:)~

that 'uns a pristine '34 model ...mine's a '30-31 transition between earlier steel bodies and later brass bodies w/ steel top & sides...the steel didn't accept the plating as well and could rust...it ain't a looker , but probably one of the best sounding Nationals around.

I...LOVE...IT! The blues is the best. I also love Rangers input the whole thing. Woof Ranger

you should have heard him when I played the video back...he was very jealous of the dog in my computer..

Maybe not so sparkly...but what a sound! I love it so...please sir may I have some more???
