I discovered this photo online - it's Lee and Jeff, at what looks to be like a studio so I'm guessing they might have been at a session.
I don't know when it was taken, or who the third person on the couch is. If anyone knows this or where the picutre might have been taken, that would be interesting. The picture is like a piece of the Toto jigsaw.

This is at A&M Studios, now Henson studios. Recognize the couch. Spent years there with Jeff. 1991 'Rush Street' project. Went on the road with Richard for a tour and had a ball. Herman Matthews was the drummer for that who is one badass cat.

what an amazing place! I assisted my friend Wes in inventorying/appraising it prior to the sale to Henson.. I have a shoebox of photos of the rooms and gear (I confess I'm a gear head..and it was my gig). A lot of history there, the facility was built by Charlie Chaplin back in the days of silent films.

It's my understanding that Mikey's bass parts for KOD were tracked at A&M (reading the liner notes!).
My guess is that there were other basics for that record tracked at A&M.
ps: Also, Tamara Champlin did some vocals for her debut at A&M. Very well-worked console there, I would think!

Richard Marx is the third person on the sofa. I was told circa 1990.
Cool photo.

If I'm not mistaken, this is a photo from the "Rush Street"-sessions. So.. the third person got to be Richard Marx...

Cant believe I didnt recognize him.
Duh.

Is it Danny Kortchmar?
Although this person looks very young here...just wondering if this is a version of "the section"?
