MashCast !

In the Osaka train station food was everywhere. The fake representations have always been something I loved.

In a sense these

In a sense these representations are sculptures, although they're machine-made. They're fascinating.

I agree

I love to collect the fake foods, too.
However, they are much more expensive than the real food.

Faux Food........

The first time I came to Japan, which I think was 1972, I went crazy for the faux food. I found the area where they wholesale it and bought a lot of it. I have my own case at home with about 20 things in it. Brings a smile to my face every time I see it.

EKI-BEN

We called all-day lunchbox "EKI-BEN".
EKI means a "station".
BEN(BENTO) means a "Lunch-box".

A lot of foods are sold at the station, it's difficult to choose one.
Have a good stay in Nagoya.
I'm waiting for Toto&Boz coming back to Tokyo.
