News from Chile....
Hello to you all...
The volcano is in "Chaiten" in the very south of Chile. I live in the north and that is why i'm not more informed about it. But the ashes are now over Buenos Aires, Argentina and the Atlantic Ocean and will arrive in Santiago de Chile this sunday. The people is still being evacuated because they won't leave their homes so easily. Chaiten is a small town, very humble people. So theres no wheather radio, no fast disaster alerts or things like that. Chile is a country where earthquakes are very common, but we still don't have de culture to get really worried about it and do what its necesary to do. Invest in science to get better disaster alerts. THAT is necessary to do.
Well... me and my family are fine...thanks to everyone who asked =), but people in south of chile they are in very bad situation, specially chaiten couse they´ve lost everything. I´ll help´em in the way i can.

Good to hear you are alright, I think it's hard for people like Billie and me who come from a very small country to see it in perspective if something like this happens in another country. I think we believe that if something is wrong somewhere it's automatically the entire country.
But thank you for the clarification, I'm glad we don't have to worry about you but my heart goes to all wha ARE in trouble!!!

Here in Argentine we are a few ignorant in this matters to prevent disasters, at least in Buenos Aires. We have problems with the rain , with the wind, with the River Plate when it overflowing, people can loses possessions but is an old question.
You don´t know how important are your words!

I hate to hear things like this. I'm happy that you and yours are safe. Even though the disaster is from nature it's so hard to see people suffer. You take good care and be safe.

with the vulcan but I know that
some friends of Kalu (from Chile)
are near of this place.
Now the ash is over Buenos Aires and
part of Atlantic Ocean. Incredible that
the wind could fly so fast!!
We hope that the ash don´t affect the people
when they falling down.

The main problem is in Chile with the volcan.
The wind (so fast) bring to Argentine the ash, it´s rare fenomeno.
But we ALL are right.

The government of Burma will not allow any help from outside to enter the country. If they wait any longer at least 100.000 people will DIE ! Maybe even more. The water these people drink is filled with disease ,there's not enough food. I think its time they put their stupid pride aside and start accepting help !
