While waking up I was dreaming what I would do if I won a million. Here's what I came up with (not in this particular order).
1. Try to buy a piece of land somewhere in the Dutch woods, preferably with a small pond. Just a place where I can put up my tent every once in a while (that's forbidden out here) and relax. Ofcourse I would be the owner but I would give it to a nature protection organization under the condition that I have the only rights to sleep there. Can you imagine me waking up there, looking out over the pond where a deer is just having a sip.....
2. Arrange a TOTOconcert exclusively for TOTOnetworkers. I would make sure everyone was there, even Mikey (playing or not playing).
3. Help out some friends in debt.
4. Maybe buy a slightly bigger house so I can FINALLY have a dishwasher in my kitchen.
5. If there's anything left I'd have someone invest it smart and I'm going to find a job for fun, not for money.
I'm curious what you come up with......
All about the money
1. Paying the loans.
2. Getting Anna the driver's license.
3. Buying a house and make a studio in a part of it.
4. Give some away to family and friends in need.
5. Anything left, I would go to LA hoping to meet the guys and all great Networkers!

I'd actually give it to my church. We desperately need the money to finish off the building we just moved into (and to pay for the work done so far).

ALWAYS a good plan to do that (i.e. help pay off a building fund note for a new church).
Been there so many times I can not count them on one hand.

1. Pay off Dad's mortgage(s).
2. Pay off my Mom's car note.
3. Set aside $$$ for Emily and Kaley's college.
4. PAY OFF MY OWN BILLS.
5. Buy that 20" Paiste Signature Ride, and a set of Heavy hats....
6. Put about $25,000 in a very secret locale only I knew about for 'emergency fund'.
6B. Build "Storm Shelter Records" (two rooms, gang...nothing fancy!)
7. TRAVEL with the rest of it.

First of all I would buy a house....instead of renting, then I would give my Mum some, so she doesn't worry about running out! Then I would save some for Hayden when he is older, then the rest ~ all to charity....find several different charities and spread the love!
I don't think that will ever happen though, but a nice thought just the same!

We have official campsites, you can put up a tent there but according to the law you can't put one up in free nature and that's what sounds like heaven to me!

Since this would fall under a luxury tax, you'd probably only get half. So, what would I do with $500,000? Pay off the remainder of my home and then purchase a vacation home. Where? I'm still contemplating that. Perhaps on a warm island with tax incentives, like the Bahamas, which is a tax haven. I'd have to become a resident of the Bahamas, but what the heck. It could be a lot worse, right?
