Dad has set some live traps ( fill 'em with corn and when they get there, the door closes behind them) for some raccoons.

Mom saw a Skunk in the trap and she was, "....how long has he been there? Gotta get him outta there so he won't stink up the place."

Mom asked me for a towel to cover over the cage with.

(Skunk was too busy eating to notice her really, until she got about 10ft. from him...).

Mom's WALKING UP TO THE TRAP ON THE WRONG SIDE OF MR. STINKY........

I could only tell her, "Mom; he knows you're back there....you're about to get gassed!!!!!!!!!!!"

She didn't, but she realized her mistake.

TOO FUNNY!
It could have been a very ---interesting Saturday yesterday. *lololol*

Selma: I wouldn't....

*sigh...*

I wouldn't call it a great time this past two or three days.

IT seem my mom did not do my Dad right on some levels, and this made him upset.

And then today, Mom got on my nerve.

MOST of the time, these guys are cool---but lately, Dad and I both can not seem to please my Mom.

Best we can do?
Stay out of her hair.
That takes both SKILL *and* guts!!!!!!

And the thing is....

Dad gets home from a very well-deserved fishing trip with the fellas, and ....he had KNOWN this skunk was out there. Dad just had decided to let the critter remain in the live trap and eat his fill of corn. Surely, to be let go when Dad came home.

I dunno what eventually happened, except when Mom found out Dad KNEW the skunk was out there, Dad took one on the chin.

Sez Dad, "...she carried that whole thing way overboard."
I said, "Uh...Dad? She has done that with me for eight years----! I would have rolled LAUGHING if that thing had let loose a stink-bomb Mom's direction!
Would have served her right for sneakin' up on him!!!!
That's just ....not real smart! She's BRILLIANT a lot of the time, that wasn't one of her smarter moves!"

I think Dad and Kelton eventually turned the critter out in the woods someplace-but you know?
THEY KNOW how to do that stuff and these guys ain't afraid to FACE THE PROBLEM head-on. (Literally-walk up to him to his face...not the other (...LOADED!) end!.

Mom's cuz William and I were watching her with this towel and wondering whether or not she would ever get back in her own house without having to hose down outside.

*lololol*
Sometimes..... I wonder.
