One of the coolest dudes I have ever known lives in KC.

HE is an independent weather spotter and I hope he saw some of this coming....perhaps he was one of the first to issue warnings.

Good to hear you guys are okay across the state line.

We got rained-on all morning yesterday and it's still coming down today. Good thing is, Cameron's graduation ceremony is indoors. Whew. Those kids dodged the bullet!

Ok in Southern Miss

Hey T!

TOR WARN Southwest of me (i.e. Purvis, where my pastor and his family live) and also one just West of me around the Macedonia area.

**NOTHING** confirmed that I know of, and if they were, they were darn hard to see, as it was raining cats, dogs and small children here earlier.

From about 5am to 12 noon, we did get hammered.

The local military training base (Camp Shelby), must have seen a funnel-but I have no idea whether or not it touched down.

We got almost an inch of rain here at home for all the trouble, and my ONLY bell-pepper got knocked off the one (1) plant I planted this year.
Oh well...that's when ya find it, rinse it off and use it early! (Topped a pizza with it-what little of it there was!).

Anybody heard from JorgiC or Stan?
I know this mess was headed Alabama way about noon.

and I realized it's not that far from you. He only finished his house from Katrina about 7 months ago, now this!

I know we get earthquakes, wild fires then mud slides but damn!!! I'll give Jorgi a call in a few to check on her.

Haven't been in a place to call hardly anybody.
And what computer time I've had today has been scarce.
I'm glad to know Jorgi's okay up in Jackson.

As soon as the weather left us here on the outskirts of the 'burg, Mom said, "...grab some gloves".

(Sweeping out sheetrock dust/leftovers about an hour after things got outta here!).

I've FINALLY had time to sit down and read the posts here.
