Type: blogAround 1983-84 I started a band with David called Wishful Thinking. I made three albums with them over a period of about 7 years. David was a HUGE musically creative force. I learned alot from him. Curious thing about the way David approaches playing: he can arbitrarily decide that any 16th note in a bar can be the new downbeat. It's crazy to play with but BOY is it funky! Enjoy. BTW- he still sounds great- and if you ask any of the world's most famous drummers they will undoubtedly list him as an influence.

Type: blogI was talking to someone tonight and he reminded me of an experience that I thought you guys might enjoy. As you may know, I've worked with many celebrities through the years and never have been starstruck(they all put their pants on one leg at a time right?). Many years ago when my son was young I had the opportunity to work with Jim Henson. Michael was about 4 years old so Sesame Street had been a staple for quite a while.
