In 2001 I started a new jazz record and then 9-11 hit and everything changed. I've decided to release the 4 tracks as an EP on iTunes. This features Gregg Bissonette, Luis Conti,Eric Marienthal,Paul Jackson Jr.,Jimmy Johnson (on three tracks)Abraham Laboriel Sr. on track. I've uploaded on track called "Close Call". I would be very curious to hear your comments because the TOTONETWORK Loves great players. Enjoy and let me know what you think! Thanks, CB

Many years ago I actually was a performer....the band I was in, Wishful Thinking, did quite well on jazz radio and we did tour some though we were really a LA based band. After I left the band I decided to do a solo record. I got together my favorite players, Luis Conte, Eric Marienthal,John Goux, Tom Brechtlein and Jerry Watts and wrote a bunch of new material and did the club circuit in LA. I recorded the band and it was released by HEADFIRST records which was owned by K-Tel. Out of the box it began to do well on radio...we thought we had a hit. Then Ktel abrubtly pulled ALL promotional support and the record died. Severely disappointed I retreated from performing altogether and focused exclusively on composition for films.
