I just discovered Mr Luke played bass on Michael Jackson's "Beat It". You learn something new every day.......
I knew that Quincy Jones is the living legend responsible for the biggest selling album in history, Michael Jackson's Thriller, but I had no idea of his previous accomplishments in the Jazz world. BBC Four recently aired a two-part documentary dedicated to Quincy's outstanding career. The first installment, aired a week ago on Friday, last week followed Q's story from child to the pre-Thriller era. The second installment, aired last night, took up at Thriller through to the present day. Luke is featured in both installments, but mainly the second one.
QUINCY JONES TRIBUTE FEATURING LUKE PART 1A, 1B, 1C...... 1933-1974 PART 2A, 2B, 2C...... 1974-2008 ENJOY......
Hi all, thought I'd share this with you guys. By now a lot of us have probably heard Luke's very funny impersonation of Michael Jackson. But by the looks of this photo I took at the Melbourne concert last night, he's taking it all a bit too far :-) "My hair.....my hair......." :-) :-) Regards, Trevor
