I was talking to someone tonight and he reminded me of an experience that I thought you guys might enjoy. As you may know, I've worked with many celebrities through the years and never have been starstruck(they all put their pants on one leg at a time right?). Many years ago when my son was young I had the opportunity to work with Jim Henson. Michael was about 4 years old so Sesame Street had been a staple for quite a while.
How does one play those licks at the end of Rosana? i'm close but not exact. Anybody?
I'm pleased to announce that the piano record, "SONGS FROM THE HEART", is now available on iTunes. So grateful that I am now able to share this music with all of you! Thank you all for your support CB
How cool is this! I'll announce shortly when it will be available.
I'm so excited! My good friend Larry Gerbrandt allowed me to use his photo for my cover. Please check out Larry's flicker page....really excellent images! http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=larry%20gerbrandt&w=all
this video is dedicated to Steve Lukather....
DEVON, England -- Movers dropped an $88,000 concert grand piano from a truck in England, and the whole thing was caught on camera. The half-ton instrument was dropped as it was being brought into the home of the organizers of an annual music festival in Devon, England. The famed Bosendorfers piano was purchased at an auction for 45,000 British pounds, or just over $88,000. A couple had spent two years raising the money for the piano, which was to be the highlight of this year's music festival. It was insured for $50,000. It was sent to London, where experts were assessing the damage.
I was amazed to see Greg & Bobby jamming in Eddie's clip on "Big Chief" by Henry Byrd aka Professor Longhair. Last night I also wound up seeing clips of 'fess and a performance of "Big Chief" by Mac Rebennac(ALMOST as good as Bobby & Greg's-Sorry Mac & Cat) in the Martin Scorsese series "The Blues". I was listening to Rosanna on the Live in Amsterdam CD and it seems there's even a little bit of 'fess in there http://www.professorlonghair.com/biography.html and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Professor_longhair both have bios of him. check it out...
asked my folks for a piano for my 4th birthday...haven't left it since!
Still waiting for new entries in our TOTODEDICATION GUESTBOOK
