The Mark and Brian Xmas show 1991....playing "celebrate me home" for Kenny Loggins. From Left to Right: Me, Dan Sawyer, Mark russo, our friend Leland, Kenny Logins, Kenny Lewis and Jeff Porcaro behind Kenny. We were looking pretty good for a 5am call!
Boy if we had done this now, we'd be all over the Food Network! Some of the usual cast of characters and some new faces. The housewives were the wives of famous musicians (I think one of the girls was Laurence Jubers wife &...) and they put this trio together and sang things like the Reynolds wrap blues, pretty funny. Finnigan sang his butt off...Keltner, Sklar, Andes, the TOP guys. One of my favorite bits was with Ginger Baker who made some sort of something...pancakes? I can't remember now. I just remember him having a tantrum about having an aluminum pan and being English he said it with that great accent and pronunciation! Scotty made Tenor Tuna Casserole, Brian Wilson's Surfer Chicken and looking at the crowd scene is really funny. And the announcers voice, Joe Benson from KLOS radio. What a hoot!!!
I didn't even know I had these pictures! Still trying to find a picture with Sklar in it. Shitty Chili...Damn food poisoning!!! :)~ I have to say I was really happy when I found this...James Burton, John Entwistle...pretty cool...oh and my brother!
Hi Scott, I just watched the Pink Floyd DVD from Venice, July 15th 1989 and I was astonished! I reviewed again, yep, no saxophone...
Hey everyone, On behalf of Eddy (indyecab), I wanted to thank all of you for subscribing and listening to Inside MusiCast. When Eddy and I conjured up the idea to start a podcast that focuses on the talent behind the talent in the music industry, we didn't know what to expect. We didn't know how best to market it, and we had no idea if we could find willing participants to be our guests - and then we wondered if anyone would even listen. Regardless, we wanted to try to make the show happen and if anything entertain ourselves. Our first interview was with Scott Page of NewMBC. Scott was so gracious in giving us his time, his insight and permission to tie Inside MusiCast in with the Toto Network. Once we launched our first episode with Scott, we immediately began tracking the number of unique and total downloads for each episode. At the end of the first month, which included interviews with Scott, Keith Thomas, and Lee Sklar, we had a total of about 450 unique downloads. Fast forward through 17 more episodes to our last episode, which was the special edition with Lee Sklar, and we have logged over 20,000 unique downloads and 24,000 total downloads. Needless to say, the interest the podcast has generated has exceeded our expectations. In addtion to the podcast being featured on the Toto Netork, we have founds it linked on a variety of music-related web sites. We're not sure exactly how people are finding out about us, but the good news is that the word is spreading. Eddy and I receive comments from around the world almost every day and they have all been positive. For that, we are grateful and it gives us the motivation to continue making the show bigger and better.
Scott & Harry after Luke & Boys 1st set.

I have known Scott Page since 1972. We quickly became friends and began working together not long after, and were nearly inseparable for the years between 1977 and 1987. But of the hundreds of phone calls I have gotten from Scott over the years, there are only 2 I can actually remember without hesitation. One was during the early 80s at about 3am west coast time. Scott and Fade (Chris Boardman) were massively drunk in Hawaii after some gig.. I forget who… Seals and Crofts probably. I loved that call. Here were 2 friends having a major great time taking the time to call and share the moment because they missed me at the hang. Priceless.
In Between Sets - Sklar's gotta start playing again in a few minutes
