I nearly became a full time musician but wound up in the IT industry instead. So my main musical outlet is now in my church band where I do my best imitation of someone who can play guitar and sing. I doubt I would have managed to get a regular gig to this many people if I’d followed music as a career. I wish I could say I played like Steve. People have said that my playing is like a cross between U2 and AC/DC. That must have been a damn good day. Most of the time I just keep adding more distortion to try and hide all my mistakes.
